Gear and equipment installed on the
CR Yacht 400DS -
Certification
The CR 400 DS Deck Salon model is designed by the CR design team and built
according to CE norm and certified by the International Marine
Certification Institute. Each boat is controlled to these standards during
the building time and receives a CE certificate upon completion. Our
vessel is a class A rated ocean going yacht.
Hull and Deck
In the hull and deck we are using isopolyester with glassfibre
reinforcement and multiaxial roving, everything made by hand, according to
the sandwich method with
divinycell as insulating material. The blue NGA
Gelcoat has inserted white stripes. A hull construction consisting of
stringers, engine bed, mastfoot and keel reinforcement is integrated and
laminated from stem to stern. All structural bulkheads are laminated to
the hull and deck.
Bath platform with bath ladder are inserted into the stern. All horizontal
surfaces in the deck, superstructure and cockpit are sandwich
construction. Cockpit, winch plates and the bath platform are laid with 12
mm teak. Hull and deck is joined with 8-mm stainless steel acid proof
bolts.

Keel
The keel is made of lead with antimony, weight 7275 pounds. The keel is
bolted to the hull with thirteen M20 stainless steel acid proof bolts.

(2)bow, (4)stern and (2) spring cleats amidships. Pulpits, integrated
seats in aft. Gateway on each side. Two Lewmar 48 self tailing stainless
steel winches. Anchor box in the bow, within the anchor box the 110V inlet
is placed. Shower handle on the bath platform with hot and cold water.

Inside Nav Station
On starboard side there is a navigation seat with room for
instruments and the ability to steer the boat electronically. Integrated
RayTech navigation software with AutoPilot and hsb (Raymarine network)
tying outside instruments to the inside
Dell 12 volt P4 computer with 15" LCD
screen. RayNav 300
GPS with external GPS antenna provides GPS data to entire network.
RayPilot 650 Autopilot and ST60 Multi display bring all operating and
navigational control to one location. An ST600R Remote Control allows
full control of all steering functions as well as providing a source to
find all the instrumentation data anywhere on the boat (Imagine sitting
back on the settee eating dinner while making slight course
adjustments!)
Cockpit Instrumentation
Housed in NavPod instrument pods are the ST60 displays (Wind, Depth,
Speed) and the RayMarine
RL80CRC outside display. Via Raymarines
networks of SeaTalk and hsb, all the instrumentation data is integrated
with the on-board network. The RL80CRC display boasts a Daytime visible
screen displaying the Radar image overlaid on CMap vector charts. Full
charting for the entire Pacific Northwest is provided by the SuperWide
CMap charts.
Radar
Radar overlay image is provided by a Raymarine 4kW Radome. The
Raymarine 4kW Radome
provides extremely high detail scans with a thin fingers of data
allowing more accurately placement and tracking of obstacles. These thin
fingers allow more accurate MARPA tracking. The Radome is mounted on a
fluid dampened gimbaled mount, which is mounted forward of the main
mast. A 36" stainless steel sailguard keeps the headsail clear of the
radar, and deck light.
