Product or service: Diesel-fired WaterHeater by ITR
The WaterHeater by ITR is a diesel-fired,
on-demand, dedicated domestic hot water heating unit that provides both continuous
output and storage of hot water. The heater is compact in size, has an
integrated 5.5 US gallon stainless steel holding tank, and is designed
to be a direct replacement for a storage-only type water heater
such as our old Isotemp_water_heater.
The patented diesel-fired ITR burner combines efficiency with an
extremely clean burn. The unit also incorporates a supplementary 1500W
120VAC electric element for use when the diesel burner is not desired
and shore power is available. When the diesel burner is operating, a
continuous output of domestic hot water with a temperature rise of 52
degrees Fahrenheit at a flow rate of 1.5 GPM is available. The 120VAC
element operates in a similar fashion to create continuous hot water,
but to a lesser degree. When the demand for continuous hot water ends,
the hot water is stored in the large capacity holding tank.

Pros: Service by ITR (the manufacturer) for this product is
acceptable
Cons: Several parts have been replaced. This unit has less 250
hours!
