Products to buy or Services needed

On this page we will tell you about products (and retailers) that work and are helpful and those that are better left on the shelf (and there are a number of these!). We do not get paid to write rave product reviews, we just use some of these products and pass on the experiences of others users.

The marine world is a unique and specialized market. As such, many items and products that contain the word "Marine" in their name seem to be overpriced and many are of poor quality. If it breaks down, they can blame it on the salt-water! Products on boats are subject to a very harsh life and need to be well constructed, reliable and made to last. By shopping around and talking with other boaters about products and services you can make a much more informed decision. Shiny magazine ads sell products, so before you pay more - be sure you are getting more!
